MY PROCESS
I get inspiration from the natural world around me, especially the "creepy creatures". I've loved insects since I was a child, and have always had a penchant for arts and crafts. I start by finding photos of the subject I want to create. I then draw sketches, translating the natural forms into shapes that will work with fabric. I then cut out fabric and start assembly, already seeing the finished product in my mind. I use a combination of hand stitching and machine sewing.
THE PLUSHIES
All my plushies are made from fleece fabric, are stuffed with polyester polyfil, and include a cotton label. Some include embellishments of felt, pom-poms, or plastic safety eyes. My plushies are meant for children 3+. I am registered through the CPSIA as a small batch manufacturer.
